(1) Physical properties: PP non-woven fabric is a non-toxic, odorless, milky white high-crystalline polymer, which is one of the lightest varieties of all plastics at present. It is particularly stable to water and has a water absorption rate of 14h in water.

(3) Thermal properties: PP non-woven fabrics have good heat resistance, the melting point is 164~170℃, and the products can be sterilized at temperatures above 100℃. Under the action of no external force, it will not deform at 150 °C.

The embrittlement temperature is -35 °C, and embrittlement occurs below -35 °C, and the heat resistance is not as good as PE.

(4) Chemical stability: PP non-woven fabric has good chemical stability. In addition to being eroded by acid, it is relatively stable to other chemical reagents, but low molecular weight aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons, etc.

It can soften and swell PP non-woven fabrics, and the chemical stability is improved with the increase of crystallinity. Therefore, PP non-woven fabrics are suitable for making Russian-Chinese chemical pipelines and accessories, and have good anti-corrosion effects.

(5) Electrical properties: non-woven fabrics have excellent high-frequency insulation properties. Since it hardly absorbs water, the insulation properties are not affected by humidity, have a high dielectric coefficient, and increase with temperature.

It can be used to make heated electrical insulation products, and the breakdown voltage is also high. It is suitable for electrical accessories. It has good resistance to voltage and arc, but has high static electricity, and it is easy to age when it is in contact with copper.

(6) Weather resistance: The non-woven fabric is very sensitive to ultraviolet rays, and the addition of zinc oxide dilauryl thiopropionate, carbon black and similar milky white fillers can improve its aging resistance.
